LGBT2SQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Two Spirit, Queer)
Being LGBT2SQ comes with its own set of challenges, including negotiating in a heterosexual society and understanding that members of the LGBT2SQ community can face isolation caused by fear of being ostracized.
Families, media, religious organizations, community groups, schools and others can be the greatest allies or most difficult opponents for the LGBT2SQ community.
Mediation offers the opportunity to start important dialogues, to listen and to learn. Everyone is offered the opportunity to learn, listen, respond and address the conflict respectfully and with dignity.
